New Zealand has been a happy hunting ground for us recently.
Our 3yo’s (only 2) secured from Karaka are Listed winner EXTRA CHOICE and debut winning and ‘Group-race-bound’ High Chaparral filly, MICONDESA.
Our sole purchase at Karaka last year- a filly by Cape Blanco remains in training in NZ and is being aimed at the Brisbane carnival.
Our recent tried horse purchases (only 2) from NZ are both ‘Australian Guineas bound’ 3yo gelding HE’S OUR ROKKII and Group I winning filly RISQUÉ. They join the 3 time G1 winning mare VIADANA who resides at Newhaven Park Stud and is in foal to Not A Single Doubt at her first season at stud.
