Written Tycoon Success For Old Firm

Promising 3yo Written Tycoon geldings Blue Tycoon, Wall Street Wolf and Gunn Island look set for promising careers for the Euroa based team Hayes.

My prime focus these days is managing the thoroughbred interests of Darren Thomas’ Seymour Bloodstock and its supporting business – Horse Training Packages. We are striving to put together a decent team of thoroughbreds and are excited to be partnering with several like minded participants going forward.  Our growing racing team is spread amongst numerous trainers who support Horse Training Packages ( our annual pre paid/discounted training fee and owner friendly business).

We also assist in the procurement of new stock on behalf our trainers and our owner partners. After  receiving some specific buying orders from my old boss Dave Hayes, I must say it has given me a real buzz seeing the young horses we secured shaping up as progressive types.
Blue Tycoon who resumes in the coming weeks was an inexpensive weanling bought out of a paddock. Following a decisive win in the Phil Sly Memorial Plate at Caulfield on May 14 his connections rejected an offer of $800,000. Plunge galloper, the enigmatic Wall Street Wolf was purchased after a Geelong trial for $150,000 and this weeks dominant debutant and Caulfield Guineas aspirant Gunn Island was procured at last years NZ ready to run sale for $130,000.
